Standards of Practice in Medical Interpretation

The Medical Interpreter has certain tasks and skills required to comply with the expectations for his/her/their performance. Therefore, the standards serve as a framework for the development of self-assessment and evaluation tools. Such evaluation helps the interpreter on hisher profesional and personal development. At the same time, serves as a tool to prepare health care providers on how to work with interpreters.
