Miryam E. Ruvalcaba
Personal Profile
As an independent interpreter and translator with nearly three decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping bridge communication gaps for individuals with limited English or Spanish proficiency. My work spans civil law, housing, healthcare, and social services—fields where clear and compassionate communication can truly change lives. Whether I’m interpreting during a medical appointment, translating legal documents for a nonprofit, or supporting grassroots community meetings, my goal has always been to make sure every voice is heard and understood.

I bring not only fluency in English and Spanish but also a deep appreciation for cultural nuance and the human connections behind every interaction. My background includes roles in social service coordination, community outreach, and leadership in volunteer organizations like Rotary. I thrive when working with diverse communities and take pride in contributing to projects that empower people—whether that’s mentoring students, supporting seniors in ESL classes, or helping local leaders bring vital services to rural areas.
